The Course Syllabus

           In any given course the syllabus is, typically, the first indicator of a specific instructor's expectations of students and offers students a rather detailed description of both course content and assignments. The course syllabus functions as an academic "contract" between the instructor (and by extension, department, college and university) and student. Thus, it should be clear, explicit, and complete, and it should NOT contain imprecise, vague, or ambiguous phrases. The course syllabus must be provided free of charge (S.R. 6.1.1), and each student must receive the syllabus during the first or second class meeting. Syllabi can be distributed electronically (e.g., via e-mail, Web sites, etc.) providing the electronically distributed syllabus contains all the necessary information, is posted electronically at the very beginning of the course, AND remains posted throughout the semester.  
Regardless of its form (paper or electronic), the course syllabus must contain sufficient information so that students have a clear understanding of the course, its content, assignments, grading criteria, and the like. It must also specify course policies and procedures, especially those that in any way may affect student grades. At a minimum, the course syllabus must outline the following items:

syllabus
        A syllabus (pl. syllabuses, or syllabi as a hypercorrection;[1][2] from modern Latin syllabus "list", in turn from a misreading (σίλλυβος sillubos) of the Greek σίττυβας sittubas "parchment label, table of contents"),[3][4] is an outline and summary of topics to be covered in an education or training course. It is descriptive (unlike the prescriptive or specific curriculum). A syllabus is often either set out by an exam board, or prepared by the professor who supervises or controls the course quality. It may be provided in paper form or online.
Both syllabus and curriculum are often fused, and usually given to each student during the first class session so that the objectives and the means of obtaining them are clear. A syllabus usually contains specific information about the course, such as information on how, where and when to contact the lecturer and teaching assistants; an outline of what will be covered in the course; a schedule of test dates and the due dates for assignments; the grading policy for the course; specific classroom rules; etc.[citation needed]
Within many courses concluding in an exam, syllabuses are used to ensure consistency between schools and that all teachers know what must be taught and what is not required (extraneous). Exams can only test knowledge based on information included in the syllabus.

     Today is a fifth class. I have learned about how to create syllabus and in this class.
     Syllabus is an outline or brief statement of the points of discourse or the content of curriculum. If you want to create about syllabus, first, you must set “Goal or Aim” before you do it. Goal and Aim are same meaning. A both are important for syllabus. You can set goal or aim, for example –Students will be able to + V1 (communicate in English), (choose one skill form four such as listening, writing, speaking and reading) or (in macro skill). You can use one thing and the third thing will good to write your goal. Second, you must set objectives (it will support goal or aim). It can divide 2 type are enabling objective and terminal objective. Then, objective should have performance, condition and standard Third, You must set learning outcome. The last, you must set assessment and evaluation. A both are difference meaning. Assessment use to develop and do during class, but evaluation use to examine or judge carefully and do after class. Learning language has three way: acquisition, learning and studying. So, learning language form is I+1 = comprehensible.
     To sum up, I think I know about how to create syllabus and apply to do it correctly.
